Help us develop the fastest growing channel within Red Hat, as more customers and partners include public cloud as part of their IT strategies and services. The Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider (CCSP) team is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will create and manage deliverables that help our customers and sales teams with technical enablement of Red Hat solutions on public clouds. You will also establish a clear understanding of target customers and their use cases and business drivers. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will work cross-functionally and globally with numerous teams, including Global Partner Alliances, Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, Field Marketing, Channel Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Services teams. You'll conduct research, craft market strategies, and develop content to support demand generation and enable field sales and Red Hat channel partners. In addition, you will have responsibility for the Red Hat Cloud Access Program, including working with product teams on enabling their SKUs for public clouds, educating Sales and customers on the benefits of using their subscriptions on public clouds, developing supporting technical how-to's, and working with our cloud partners on technical and business requirements to be certified for Cloud Access.
Primary job responsibilities
Create and manage technical content and operational work streams for Red Hat Cloud Access
Establish consistent communications with Red Hat sales and system engineers on the benefits of both the Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider program and the Cloud Access program
Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing teams to ensure that their plans and deliverables include public cloud as a channel for hybrid cloud deployments
Create concise and compelling core messaging for our public cloud offerings that embody key hybrid cloud value propositions, positioning, and differentiation
Create effective technical marketing assets and content, including whitepapers, presentations, case studies, solutions briefs, web content, data sheets, and sales kits that can be used globally
Jointly create technical marketing collateral with technical marketing managers, engineers, and field marketing teams, including technical presentations, whitepapers, and case studies
Support engagements where required in high-touch accounts worldwide by collaborating with
field sales and services teams
Support Global Partner Alliance Marketing by developing joint value propositions with strategic hyper-scaler cloud partners
Develop and deliver enablement and training activities for Sales, Presales, and Professional Services teams and partners
Collaborate with other product teams to create multi-product and multi-solution marketing
materials that address customer use cases and challenges
5-10 years of product marketing experience; experience with partner marketing is a plus
5-10 years of software industry experience, preferably within an area of infrastructure software,
e.g., operating systems (Linux is preferred), virtualization, cloud, or systems management
Understanding of the common technical concepts and technologies including IT infrastructure, cloud (public and private), and DevOps
Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, computer science, or a related area; MBA is a plus
Record of success in a fast-paced technical environment
Ability to translate technology features into customer benefits, develop proof points and value propositions for our offerings, and create high-value assets to communicate and promote our solutions internally and externally
Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to medium to large audiences
Ability and experience working in an persuasion-driven, cross-functional environment with minimal supervision
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once in a highly complex environment
Critical-thinking skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions
Willingness to travel approximately 20%
Domain knowledge of and experience with open source projects is a plus
