Job summary

Make a difference in both existing and new Red Hat solutions, programs, and processes. The Red Hat Program Management team is looking for a Business Process Analyst to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will work across multiple geographically dispersed functional teams to support focus efforts relating to improved product delivery. You will facilitate the implementation of special projects navigating a complex array of internal processes, assist in developing analyses to improve and streamline process interlocks, and manage the incoming feature request backlog for several development support tools. You will work closely with leadership in Program Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, Release Engineering, and other functional teams. We’ll need you to be an integral part of the Program Management team responsible for delivering Red Hat's Product and Technologies (P’n’T) solutions.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Manage requirements process for several internal tools

  • Support the implementation of special projects from kickoff to completion

  • Ensure informed decisions and governance by bringing together stakeholders

  • Coordinate with the program managers to interlock business processes

  • Actively identify and escalate issues and potential obstacles

  • Enable an environment of collaboration and accountability

  • Perform and curate root cause analysis process

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 5-10 years of experience delivering technology-related services or products

  • Technical knowledge of and experience with software product development

  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with globally distributed team members

  • Dynamic and effective virtual meeting facilitation skills through phone and internet

  • Familiarity with different project management methodologies and tools

  • Risk mitigation and change management skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is a plus
