The Red Hat Telco Sales team is looking for a Partner Sales Lead with a track record of successfully delivering business results to coordinate our joint sales pursuits with partners out of Singapore. In this role, you will guide network transformation revenue through alignment between Red Hat Telco Account teams and each of the strategic partners who have met the Red Hat program criteria to deliver Telco network transformation solutions. You’ll also be responsible for developing relationships with regional sales leadership of our most strategic partners for the region. To effectively perform these responsibilities, we’ll need you to have experience in both managing partner relationships and in guiding direct sales, as well as a deep understanding of network ecosystem and related business models. You will report to the head of Telco Sales for the region and coordinate closely with counterparts in the other regions.
Primary job responsibilities
Maximize Red Hat Telco sales results by guiding alignment between 10-15 Red Hat Telco accounts and 4-5 priority strategic partners in region and tracking results of that collaboration
Coordinate partner engagement on large network transformation deal pursuits, ensuring alignment between Red Hat and Partner Sales teams on pursuit and delivery strategy and capabilities required to meet customer goals
Guide all in-regional alignment activities with priority partners, including facilitating joint workshops, brokering relationships into Red Hat Telco Account teams and ensuring that partner goals and perspectives are integrated into Red Hat Telco account plans
Represent Red Hat and our partnerships as a spokesperson and presenter at internal and external regional events
Connect partner regional teams with any Red Hat resources that they need to develop their business in region
Collaborate with global alliance teams to shape the future strategic direction of the partnerships
10+ years of experience in the high tech network ecosystem industry, with a deep understanding open source and the issues Telco customers face in delivering on the promise of network transformation
5+ years of direct sales experience, with demonstrated excellence in delivering quarterly results against a growth plan
5+ years of partner and alliance management, with a focus on developing large strategic partners
Proven ability to manage the multiple competing interests necessary to deliver on large multi-party transformation engagements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with diverse senior
executives and program owners
Highly collaborative work style with proven ability to gather consensus and get support for decisive and timely action
