The Red Hat Marketing team in Asia Pacific (APAC) is looking for an experienced Event Marketing Manager to join us Singapore. In this role, you will play an important part in the planning and development of Red Hat's largest APAC customer roadshow, partners summit, C-level events, and internal events. Our team aims to collaborate, connect, excite, and transform the attendee experience, and you will ensure all Red Hat events run smoothly and successfully promote the values of Red Hat’s brand and suite of solutions. We'll need you to be highly motivated, positive attitude and results-oriented with great communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Primary job responsibilities
Plan and manage multi-cities events across APAC
Organize and implement a vendor request for proposal (RFP) process
Develop and maintain project timelines and guide regular team meeting to ensure event deliverables are on track
Manage event registration; work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop codes, attendance models, tracking documents, detailed reports, and full event microsites
Research, evaluate, manage, and build relationships with vendors to achieve best results within budgets
Manage the attendee experience, ensuring the overall conference themes and current look and feel are consistent and implemented into every detail of events across APAC
Good vendors and venue relationships across APAC cities
Communicate between the global, regional, and field teams, providing monthly and timely updates via conference calls or in-person presentations
Good network of vendors across APAC
Work closely with various stakeholders to keep event production within the allocated budget
Highly creative in conceptualising and executing unique event experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
5+ years of related regional B2B event experience
Good experience in managing multi-cities roadshows
Solid communication and influencing skills with all levels of internal stakeholders
Meticulous, flexible, resourceful, creative, and highly organized; great problem-solving skills
Ability to follow budget guidelines and manage spending
Passionate about the event industry and making customers feel celebrated
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ability to quickly understand complex issues then develop and apply simplifying frameworks to facilitate a broader organizational understanding, decision-making, and action
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadline
Able to work on your own and under pressure
Willingness to travel as needed
Experience with Salesforce and Eloqua is an advantage
