Job summary

Play an integral part in supporting recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, maintaining our applicant tracking system, drafting employment contracts, and providing other shared HR services. The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) People (HR) Infrastructure Operations team is looking for an APAC HR Coordinator to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will handle all new hire-related documentation, manage the new hire onboarding process, prepare employment confirmation letters, create contract amendments by changing employment status, and answer employee questions through our People Help Desk.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Talent Acquisition (TA) team in APAC

  • Support interview coordination in other regions when required

  • Arrange travel for candidates

  • Work with managers and recruiters to ensure that candidates have excellent interview experience

  • Develop relationships with candidates to guide them through the interview process

  • Manage candidate reimbursement for interview travel expenses

  • Administer the applicant tracking system to update, audit, and maintain candidate data

  • Manage incoming candidate queries by providing directions and guidance to our online application process

  • Create employment contracts and all new hire-related documentation

  • Manage delivery and return of all new hire paperwork

  • Follow up with hiring managers to ensure that account requests and laptop orders have been placed for all new hires

  • Answer employee questions related to HR topics through the People Help Desk

  • Work with HR Information System (HRIS) and the Payroll team to create new hire accounts

  • Contribute to the global People Infrastructure Operations (PI OPS) projects

  • Perform other responsibilities assigned on the basis of business requirements

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in HR or recruitment support

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Japanese, and Chinese

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Experience working in a high-volume, global environment is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in HR is a plus
