Job summary

The Red Hat Enterprise team is looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager focused on the financial services industry (FSI) to join us in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, you'll be an important part of our Field Sales team in South Korea working within the FSI sector. You'll be responsible for expanding and improving business with assigned customers and for all aspects of the sales activities.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Carry out the enterprise sales activities focusing on finance accounts and financial group subsidiaries in South Korea

  • Develop and maintain trusted customer relationships in target accounts by serving as the key contact with senior executives and business owners of IT services in customer organizations

  • Focus on customers to deliver Red Hat’s value and business strategy; identify new sales opportunities

Required skills

  • 8+ years of experience within the IT and software industry with practical experience with infrastructure-related software, middleware, and integration software

  • Solid progressive sales experience in the B2B environment and proven sales record

  • 5+ years of recent experience in the FSI industry and a comprehensive network of executive-level industry contacts

  • Ability to develop cloud solutions and open source software business with understanding about Red Hat or open source software

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Ability to find business opportunities and address customer requests in a timely manner

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the right attitude for building solid customer relationships
