The Red Hat Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team is looking for an Office Manager to join us in San Francisco, CA. In this role, you will manage all aspects of facility management and service delivery, focusing primarily on daily office operations and supporting the business. Your daily tasks will vary and may include vendor meetings, processing invoices, creating or revising documentation, designing program frameworks, presenting, creating and using spreadsheets, event planning, and more. As an Office Manager, you will also handle all maintenance and repair issues and manage space planning for the office and setup for new associates.
Primary job responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact; make the first impression for our company and interact continuously with customers, guests, and vendors
Manage office budget, ensure that monthly invoicing is completed on time, and offer analysis as needed
Manage internal and external visitors
Evaluate services regularly to validate quality, service, and compliance for initiatives and office programs like snack and drink programs, food service and catering, ergonomics, onboarding and offboarding, restocking office supplies, space management, building maintenance, office branding and design, and shipping and receiving of boxes and letters to and from the office
Guide the implementation of GWS initiatives for the local office, including global and regional programs
Communicate cross-functionally within the office and across the company, maintaining accurate and up to date information on our internal corporate website about the local office
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of related experience
Exceptional customer-service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
High attention to detail and advanced skills in developing systems and processes for smooth office operations
Motivated with the ability to work with little direct supervision in a fast-paced corporate environment; good time and task management skills
