Enable the realization of the Red Hat vision of the enterprise hybrid cloud. The Red Hat Technical Business Development team, part of the Product and Technology (PnT) team, is looking for a Strategic Partner Executive to join us in California. In this role, you will work with strategic Red Hat cloud and alliance partners to identify and deliver technology and offering-related initiatives. As a key member of the team, you’ll be at the forefront of defining and implementing Red Hat customer experiences in the public cloud. You’ll interact with both the most strategic alliance partners, and with internal product, technology, finance, and operations teams. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
Primary job responsibilities
Define and lead key initiatives with Red Hat’s cloud partners, including organizing meetings, tracking initiatives, and ensuring alignment with corporate and product team goals
Work with major business, sales, and technology teams within Red Hat to define and deliver product and business models with public cloud partners in line with Red Hat's corporate and community goals
Build deep relationships with cloud providers' offerings and technologies teams to promote new business activities
Develop publicly visible corporate alignment directives like new offerings, press releases, and blog postings in support of initiatives
Define emerging technology agenda regarding artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), internet of things (IoT), edge computing, etc., to identify new business opportunities with cloud providers
10+ years of enterprise software product management experience with specific focus on open source community and enterprise product development, Linux operating systems, Red Hat JBoss Middleware, Platform-as-a-Service (Paas) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and public and private cloud computing
5-10 years of alliance partner management experience
Familiarity with negotiation of complex business model engagements, go-to-market (GTM) activities, and technology, support, marketing, and sales alignment with partners
Keen understanding of cloud provider and system infrastructure competitive landscape
