Develop and deliver programs to grow pipeline and revenue in North America and to support key corporate marketing initiatives. Red Hat's North America Field Marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic Program Marketing Manager with experience developing and implementing successful integrated demand creation, thought leadership, and awareness programs to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will define target customer segments and help plan and carry out a cohesive field marketing plan, including tactics like direct marketing, digital marketing, paid social media, retargeting, field events, etc. You’ll work in close collaboration with global, cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Channel and Alliance Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Corporate Marketing teams. As a Program Marketing Manager, you'll need to have the ability to track and report program effectiveness and to optimize strategy and tactics to achieve metrics for pipeline contribution and engagement.
Primary job responsibilities
Deliver a cohesive field marketing plan to achieve Red Hat’s corporate and sales objectives; broaden and deepen Red Hat's installed base through cross-sell programs
Carry out integrated programs for all routes to market
Collaborate and increase alignment with cross-functional teams
Carry out initiatives while keeping to the marketing programs budget
Set up correct campaign tactics and offer IDs in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to ensure proper lead and opportunity to campaign alignment and accurate reporting
Build a consistent communication plan to product and Sales team and cross-functional stakeholders regarding marketing plans, program details, and performance metrics
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline
3+ years in B2B marketing experience, preferably in a technology field
Ability to build and carry out effective, integrated marketing programs for multi-product solutions and offerings targeting the enterprise market, including Fortune 500 accounts
Knowledge of open source, enterprise software, cloud, virtualization, and storage (software defined storage) is a plus
Prior experience with SFDC or Eloqua is a plus
