Job summary

The Red Hat Global Campaign team is looking for a Program Marketing Manager to join the Global Demand Generation Campaign team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be the central campaign point of contact for activating Red Hat's demand generation strategy through marketing events. You’ll determine the activation plan for physical events, virtual events, and webinars to achieve the desired outcomes regarding demand generation goals, including event offer and engagement planning for pre-, during-, and post-event calls to action. Also, you will provide strategic event positioning in collaboration with the appropriate subject matter experts, global program marketing leaders, and the events team per event type, persona, awareness and demand generation goals, buyer's journey and conversion milestone classification, partner, vertical, and market segment, and monetization strategy.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Working with the global event and creative teams to deliver Red Hat event kits for industry events workshops, practical labs, and executive roundtables

  • Represent the global demand generation team in industry event, webinar, and virtual event planning meetings

  • Work with the Regional and Field Marketing Event team’s contacts to increase adoption and activation of kits in market

  • Define and manage the demand generation webinar schedule with the content life cycle manager to ensure consistency and alignment across the campaign

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus

  • 2+ years of related B2B event or program marketing experience; experience in managing multi-cities roadshows

  • 4+ years of software industry experience across a broad portfolio of technology areas

  • Passionate about event experience and making customers feel celebrated

  • Success dealing with complexity at a global level, across multiple channels and multiple product lines, about multiple competitors and partners, and broadly with the market as a whole

  • Demonstrated ability to create world-class campaigns and educate a global marketing force

  • Thorough marketing knowledge in customers and target markets, marketing strategy creation, product and solution knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with global teams, partner marketing, field marketing, corporate marketing, and sales enablement associates

  • Combination of visionary, strategic and pragmatic, and practical tactical skills

  • Demonstrated track record of success in a fast-moving, technical environment

  • Solid communication and influencing skills with all levels of internal stakeholders

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

  • Meticulous, flexible, resourceful, creative, and highly organized; great problem-solving skills

  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadline

  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Experience with Salesforce and Eloqua is an advantage
