Play a crucial role in the ongoing success of Red Hat’s IT. The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) Strategy and Enablement team is looking for an IT Global Enablement Program Manager to join our newly formed team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help guide numerous programs and create a framework that positions Red Hat to achieve the next-generation IT status. You’ll need a deep understanding of IT best practices, emerging technologies, and operational strategies, as well as specific skills, capabilities, and knowledge that all IT associates need to succeed.
Primary job responsibilities
Create a process to connect the IT strategy to team and individual goals
Develop and manage a mechanism for all of IT to see status and progress of key IT activities
Partner with organizational change management associates to ensure key IT activities are planned and managed in a manner that supports their success across IT and Red Hat
Partner with the Employment Branding Communications (EBC) team to create a strategy and framework for IT internal branding and messaging
Partner with EBC resources to align cross-functional, company wide, and IT-related messaging with the brand identity and messaging strategy
Define and implement the Red Hat on Red Hat program, highlighting Red Hat IT team’s use of Red Hat’s offerings; partner with the Sales, Products and Technology (PnT), and Marketing teams to support the development of our offerings and customer engagement
Define and manage IT team’s presence in various communication venues, including our intranet (Mojo), new hire orientation, sales kick-off events, Red Hat Summit, etc.
Create a process to measure the effectiveness of internal and external IT communication efforts
Partner with the People team to champion and coordinate programs and activities across the global IT team
Guide and support the development and implementation of programs and strategies that help managers develop and improve the performance of their associates
Partner with managers and senior leaders to coordinate and align talent programs, projects, and activities across the IT team
8+ years of relevant communications, strategy, or marketing experience in a fast-paced environment, integrating strategies and programs in alignment with the company's strategic goals
2+ years of experience supporting or working in IT; understanding of IT roles and skills
Bachelor's degree; MBA or master’s degree in a related field are a plus
Proven ability to provide guidance, coaching, and inspiration across all levels of an organization
Innovative thinking in the approach to the discipline
Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and guide successful outcomes cross-functionally
Ability to handle many competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment
Demonstrated ability to consult with all levels of leadership across the organization
Ability to work in and manage ambiguity
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex, strategic ideas or concepts in a business and user-friendly manner
Proven record of designing and launching successful programs or projects
