Guide the development of Red Hat's strategic Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) partner market. The Red Hat Global Partners and Alliances Independent Software Vendor (ISV) team is looking for a Global Business Development Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will actively participate in recruitment and assist with successful onboarding. You’ll help us provide key infrastructure and development platform technologies that enable our ISV partners to deploy, go to market, and co-innovate.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop and evangelize Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market strategy; promote internal and external awareness of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market as a strategic industry segment for Red Hat
Work with Red Hat's Global Partner Marketing and Product Marketing teams to extend and enhance Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-related partner campaigns
Coordinate and directly cooperate with regional business development teams at target partner recruitment and engagement
Participate in global strategic partner management for select software vendors including joint wins, revenue targets, and global governance
Work with Red Hat's other partner teams to coordinate strategic recruitment and go-to-market plays with solutions integrators, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and cloud providers
Experience in global alliance management and business development at senior leadership and executive levels
Experience in targeting product managers with offerings related to Red Hat's software platforms and technologies
Experience with influence management and collaboration with multiple internal product and business stakeholders to shape Red Hat's partner offerings for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) vendors
Software architecture experience in large multi-cloud software systems, including familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or similar providers
Solid executive-level written, verbal, and public presentation skills
Solid understanding of the open source software market and cloud, automation, and infrastructure software
Excellent delivery skills with a focus on producing results
High attention to detail to ensure operational efficiency and reporting
The following are considered a plus:
Experience and credibility in a variety of industry or horizontal technology segments
Kubernetes, containers, and OpenShift by Red Hat architectural experience
Software development and life cycle management experience
