Implement and support the implementation of sales enablement programs to achieve increased sales of Red Hat Training and Certification offerings to Red Hat’s customers through Red Hat partners. The Red Hat Global Learning Services (GLS) team is looking for an experienced professional with a background in partner marketing, partner operations, and channel management to join us as a Global Learning Program Manager in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be essential in engaging with our partner community to help create and successfully implement innovative sales enablement programs and initiatives that promote the sales of Red Hat’s learning services. You’ll have an opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of key channel programs that contribute to the performance of our global business. As a Global Learning Program Manager, your success will be heavily dependent on consistent high-quality collaboration and engagement with internal teams across the organization, including partner marketing, partner and alliance management, and partner operations, as well as with key associates in other global and corporate functions.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop an ongoing sales training and education process and program for partners encompassing live training sessions, information updates about our offerings, job aids, etc.
Create and manage key initiatives focused on partner engagement, partner enablement, and enhancing and improving the sales process for partners
Manage the GLS partner enablement discount program including IT work, coordination with internal stakeholders, and communication to key stakeholders within the partner’s organization
Perform needs assessment and facilitate development of an ongoing plan with a focus on continuous improvement measured through participant feedback, assessment and monitoring or correlation of sales performance, and KPIs
Support the updating and populating of partner-focused GLS assets and information on Partner Connect, Content Hub, and partner newsletters
Collaborate with regional training partner managers to guide global partner initiatives and to support regional partner programs
Collaborate with peers in the Red Hat OPEN program to take advantage opportunities for promoting broader awareness of Red Hat Training and Certification offerings
Create courses for Red Hat OPEN focused on GLS offerings and value
Work with marketing to create new and update existing channel-facing assets to support training partners and channel partners
Support the creation and implementation of sales feedback mechanisms, including partner councils, participation of partner sales representatives in key projects, surveys, etc.
5+ years of partner marketing, partner operations, or partner management is required; experience working in a support capacity with a multi-partner channel organization in a high-tech business is a plus
Proven experience guiding sales growth through a partner or channel organization
Experience creating programs, initiatives and processes in support of partners
Experience working with external partners
Ability to work without direct supervision with a high degree of discipline and organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
Proven ability to build and nurture relationships across multiple teams and channels
Excellent communication skills in writing (with samples of work preferred), editing, presentation creation and delivery, and verbal communication, all with extreme attention to detail and accuracy
Prior experience in delivering training to sales teams with the ability to deliver training both in person and live via the internet
Occasionally work outside of business hours, early and late, to collaborate with key Red Hat and partner personnel in various international locations
Willingness to travel up to 25%, including internationally
Excellent working and applied knowledge of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and all Microsoft Office applications
Experience in the training industry is a plus
