Red Hat Senior Business Systems Analyst in Pune, India

The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will provide operational support to the business. You will support methods of facilitation and implementation of standardized policies and procedures across all global functions impacted by Master Data Management. You’ll provide methods, tools, and analysis to evaluate policy and procedure improvement and use management techniques to track and report progress on key initiatives, highlight and facilitate closure of risks, and deliver results. As part of the Master Data Management team, you will contribute to system and process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis, and discussion of improvements to help business leaders lead best practices in keeping with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. This is an exciting, fast-paced role which provides involvement in many aspects of Red Hat’s transactional systems as well as opportunities to influence the future state of operational implementation.
Primary job responsibilities
Provide analysis and develop business policies and procedures to support global initiatives
Bring expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in policy improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, and compliance with policies
Conduct and facilitate meetings with business process owners to track and report progress on key initiatives
Analyze and document dependencies between functional groups
Assess the interactions between process, data, and the systems utilized to move the data throughout the organization for the purpose of understanding and improving the current state
Identify key business readiness considerations, activities, and deliverables to adopt changes resulting from business process or systems improvements
Communicate changes and associated business impacts based on conducting an analysis of the affected audiences
Partner with other teams within and outside of Master Data Management space to collaborate on issues and address improvement opportunities
Bachelor's degree; master's degree is a plus
2+ years of experience with sales, operations, and financial processes
2+ years of experience as a business analyst or project manager at a technology company; PMP certification is a plus
2+ years of experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
Experience working in a global environment with international teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to audiences of all levels
Desire to understand how business processes work and how they can be improved
Ability to understand technology solutions and the interactions of personnel, process,
and data within these solutions
Excellent relationship building and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel infrequently to visit teams in remote offices or attend conferences
Willingness to attend or conduct calls early or late to support business in our Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Americas regions as needed
