The Red Hat Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join us in Prague, Czech Republic. The Talent Acquisition team is divided into two equal peer teams: Advisory and Recruiting. In this role, you’ll join the Recruiting team that is our outward-facing team, and represents Red Hat to the external market. You will focus on developing relationships with top talent and building talent pipelines in local market, while acting as marketeer for the Red Hat brand in a competitive candidate market. You’ll also collaborate with the Advisory team, inward-facing, that focuses on advising on talent strategies, guiding our assessment and selection process, being the subject matter experts for candidate management and negotiations, and advocating internal mobility. Both partners play a key influential role in promoting hiring excellence.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Build long-lasting relationships and network with top talent in local markets

  • Actively cultivate and develop candidate pipelines

  • Market and sell the message of Red Hat in a compelling way to top talent

  • Effectively deploy drip marketing to key talent pipelines

  • Develop and maintain relevant networks in your recruitment areas

  • Create and implement outbound recruiting plans to actively approach prospective candidates and talent pools

  • Source candidates using a variety of creative, cost-effective, and diverse methods including direct sourcing, networking, internet research, and employee referrals

  • Use analytical, data-driven sourcing strategies to produce effective and efficient search results

  • Strengthen and develop the Red Hat brand in the external marketplace

  • Cultivate and advocate the Red Hat Ambassador Program for employee referrals

  • Act as a thought leader and innovator in the talent acquisition industry and use social media mediums in unique, creative, and comprehensive ways

  • Understand business strategies and challenges and underlying talent strategies

  • Maintain an outstanding level of candidate assessment and presentation to the business managers in culture fit and other key competencies

  • Act as the main interface with our business managers of market intelligence and external benchmarking

  • Act as an evangelist in the technology candidate marketplace

  • Understand and monitor our competition and be able to report market recruitment trends

Required skills

  • Experience as a recruiter ideally for sales or services related roles

  • Experience with a variety of interviewing techniques, particularly in competency based interviewing

  • Passionate about finding the best talent in the market for any given role

  • Excellent business insight and success in presenting a company’s business model

  • Solid experience with professional social media tools like LinkedIn

  • Demonstrated success in influencing key decision makers in the assessment and selection process

  • Solid understanding of the German job market

  • Ability to thrive in a team-based, dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-touch, multi-location recruitment

  • Active attitude with a demonstrated ability to influence people with a consultative approach
