The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Manager, for the Channel Sales team to join us in Plano, TX. In this role, you will manage our Central and Canada region Channel Sales organization. You'll be responsible for managing all aspects of Red Hat's regional channel reseller channel account management. This includes the implementation and development of Red Hat's Channel Sales performance and leading our strategy. As a Senior Manager, you will manage and build the Channel Account Management team in the region and be responsible for relationships with our reselling partners within the region. You will directly manage our regional channel account managers, and will be a part of the North America leadership team working with regional Sales Management, Inside Sales, and the extended Partner team (marketing, operations, support) to carry out our strategy.
Primary job responsibilities
Carry out the North American Channel Sales strategy
Manage the regional channel account managers and North America solution specialist channel account managers for Red Hat Storage and Red Hat JBoss Middleware
Work on a cross-functional leadership team to build an integrated coverage model within our North American regions to create a channel centric organization (iCAMs, Solutions Architects, Channel Marketing, Regional Field Sales leadership teams)
Set priorities for the channel account managers
Attract, retain, and develop excellent regional channel account manager teams in region
10+ years of sales experience
Field sales account management experience
Channel sales management experience
Good working knowledge of Red Hat's channel program and partner ecosystem
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in cross-functional environment
