The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for an Account Based Marketing (ABM) Manager to join us in London, UK. In this role, you'll join our UKI Marketing team but also our ABM and Vertical Marketing team for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). You will focus on creating personalized content and delivering targeted initiatives to foster deeper relationships within specific strategic accounts by working in close alignment with sales and marketing teams. You'll play a critical role in our lead demand generation efforts by building and implementing inbound and outbound marketing campaigns through multiple marketing channels.
Primary job responsibilities
Understand specific challenges of named accounts, discover the decision-making process and key personas in the organization
Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles, target personas, and oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals
Work with sales to identify gaps in contact information within strategic accounts; develop data and insight strategy to acquire new or additional information
Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
Manage and promote an editorial calendar of innovative content and marketing assets that align with the customer journey, sales buying stages, and support the go-to-market plan for your ABM accounts
Analyze metrics and reports to define effectiveness of program activities and integrated content consumption
Collaborate with the ABM Program team to gain consensus for cross-portfolio go-to-market plans and marketing plays aligned with solution order and sales directives
5+ years of named or account-based marketing experience in high tech, financial services industry, telecommunications, or government
Experience in building and implementing enterprise account and account based marketing programs; experience with financial services, manufacturing, or other industry marketing is a plus
Understanding of cloud and emerging technologies with the capability to integrate into programs that deliver on sales and product objectives
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English; another European language is a plus
Solid writing and presentation skills to translate detailed content into impactful go-to-market materials, including web, email, and social media content
Successful direct and digital marketing campaign and social media planning and implementation experience
Demonstrated ability to achieve practical results while working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
Solid project management, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and deliver projects with minimal direct supervision
Goal-oriented, with the ability to work in a team and maintain focus on customers
Ability to keep an eye on details and follow through on complex projects
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is a plus
