Guide sales activities within our strategic, high-growth accounts. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for Territory Account Manager to join us in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you will be assigned a territory in a previously non-named space and be responsible for uncovering, nurturing, progressing, and closing new sales opportunities involving our entire solutions portfolio. You’ll sell innovative solutions to enterprises ready to adopt open source solutions as they modernize their IT systems. As a Territory Account Manager, you will need to have great communication skills because you'll work closely with our extensive channel partner network while contributing to the territory strategy with internal channel sales stakeholders. Primary job responsibilities
Sell Red Hat's solutions and services directly and through channel partners to non-named accounts; call prospective customers and identify potential opportunities with partners
Create and implement account plans with internal channel sales account managers and relevant partners to accelerate Red Hat's complex solutions strategies
Manage the sales pipeline, including renewals and new business
Provide technical and administrative information about our offerings, demonstrations, and quotes on appropriate customer prices
Manage forecasts, help partners close deals, and track customer opportunities using company-standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Answer phone calls from prospective and existing customers and partners
Grow existing partner relationships and promote sales programs developed for and with partners
Participate in internal sales training and certification programs to maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency in Red Hat's offerings and industry trends
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and good under pressure
Detail-oriented and creative; ability to work as part of a team
5+ years of experience exceeding sales quotas; experience selling highly technical solutions is a plus
Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Demonstrated success managing a sales pipeline and forecast
Proven success implementing strategies with and through partners, preferably in a similar sales territory
Passion for open source technology
