Job summary

Work collaboratively with multicultural teams to improve business and create solutions that serve both Red Hat and our main Hong Kong customers. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Incremental Sales Account Representative to join us in Hong Kong. In this role, you will support the Enterprise Account Manager with large deals and by managing all renewal opportunities on your own, including selling, coordinating with different stakeholders, and working with Salesforce.com (SFDC) to promote opportunities throughout the complete sales cycle.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Sell Red Hat's comprehensive enterprise solutions

  • Provide sales support to three to four field sales professionals

  • Grow existing business relationships and acquire new business

  • Collaborate closely with a enterprise account manager by providing quotes and pricing and by responding to sales inquiries

  • Work with customers to identify renewal, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities; optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction

  • Keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities in our customer contact database; schedule follow-up activities as needed

  • Update and manage the pipeline and prepare revenue forecasts, close deals, and track customer data using company-standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools

  • Work with Finance, Deal Desk, Legal, and Operations teams across the region to facilitate deals and make sure all necessary information is provided

  • Work with SFDC and manage the entire sales process

  • Meet your assigned sales quota

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3-5 years of inside sales experience

  • Technology sales experience; basic understanding of open source software

  • Solid technical skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under the pressure of deadlines

  • Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position like outside, inside, or telesales or sales administration

  • Understanding of complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing

  • High-quality customer service skills

  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility

  • Ability to work well within a senior team and coordinate complex activities in a fast-paced environment

  • Motivated and committed

  • Motivated with the ability to work on your own and be a contributing member of a team

  • Proficient computer skills in CRM, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and SFDC are a plus
