The Red Hat Sales team is looking for someone with extensive sales experience to join us as a Partner Account Manager in Germany. In this role, you will develop relationships at various levels and further develop our existing system integrator (SI) partnerships in Germany. You'll convince the targeted SIs of our solid technology position, and explain the benefits of using Red Hat technologies as part of their solution or application offering, including using mutually agreed upon business plans with targeted SIs to achieve sales and revenue goals. As a Partner Account Manager, you will collaborate with the rest of the sales team and technical delivery teams to bring our partners and customers the best solutions from across the Red Hat's solutions and services portfolio. We'll need you to be a top sales expert with excellent business insight who can present executive lT leadership with a compelling business case to invest in Red Hat solutions.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop your SI strategy for Germany, in alignment with the EMEA SI strategy
Become a vital part of your SI's offerings and become a strategic partner and collaborate across borders
Increase revenue based on a yearly business plan with each named partner
Manage all relevant programs and offerings for given partners, including contracts, terms and conditions, renewal offerings, or other programs made available
Identify joint opportunities and engage the SI to take the relevant steps like practice development, skills, or solution offering definition
Establish Red Hat solutions as the leading technology within the SI's open source practice, together with your insides sales and architecture team
Understand and integrate Red Hat sales and marketing initiatives to support and leverage partners' go to market strategies
6 years of sales experience working with partners or system integrators
6-8 years of successful solution software direct or indirect sales experience, with experience in solution selling methodologies
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; good presentation and follow-up skills
Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to close sales opportunities
Ability to work at a senior management level while building long-term, strategic relationships
Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team while demonstrating flexibility, autonomy, and initiative
Fluent English language skills
Willingness to travel
