Job summary

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Customer Engagement Specialist to join us in Farnborough, UK. In this role, you will promote excellence in lead qualification, management, and development as you follow up with customers who make inquiries about Red Hat’s solutions and services. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders in the business, including Marketing, Sales, and partner teams across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region to optimize return from each marketing activity and identify cross and upsell opportunities for Red Hat. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Qualify incoming calls, emails, and inquiries

  • Aim to meet the predefined quarterly lead qualification, conversion, and revenue targets

  • Use concise messaging to target a variety of industry verticals and contacts

  • Ensure customer relationship management (CRM) systems are maintained and up-to-date

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry and Red Hat's competitive position

  • Support team members and other associates

  • Represent Red Hat to the customer and the customer to Red Hat in all sales-related matters

Required skills

  • Ability to work flexibly, adapt to change, and grow in an innovative and fast-paced company

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Willingness and ability to learn

  • Prior experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
