Job summary

Experience working in a fast-paced environment at a growing open source IT company and improve your skills in project management, event management, and reporting. Support various administrative tasks. The Red Hat Site Management team is looking for a Junior Project Administrator Intern to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will assist the team with their daily administrative tasks, provide organizational assistance with conferences, workshops, booking, writing reports, and keeping records and handling budgetary and personnel requirements. You’ll need to be able to work at least 1 year or longer on a part-time position with an estimated workload of 20 hours per week.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks like data entry and management, reports preparation, data analysis, etc.

  • Gather information regarding programs for internship and administrative support; communicate with Red Hat's associates and partners (e.g., universities)

  • Manage orders of branding materials and inventory

  • Support the organization and promote community events and activities

Required skills

  • Advanced written and verbal language skills in English

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to establish and document priorities and take initiative with little supervision

  • High attention to detail

  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once

  • Advanced skills in using Google Docs or other office suite software

The following are considered a plus:

  • Basic coding skills

  • Ability to automate routine tasks

  • Ability to organize events
