The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Territory Sales Account Manager to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will identify Red Hat’s business potential for the mid market and small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) market in the North China region for Red Hat’s offerings. You’ll work to achieve the revenue goal by working with partners and cross-functional teams and align with Red Hat’s sales policy and activities.
Primary job responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide sales initiative, partner programs, and marketing events to achieve a final revenue target; take responsibility for account strategy, demand generation activities, carry-out plans, etc.
Make extensive use of prospecting techniques to generate customer interest and provide a targeted value proposition
Research marketing goals and objectives, supported hardware platforms, marketing and business trends, and industry knowledge to assess account needs and develop sales opportunities
Implement aspects of territory and account management and development, including qualifying, forecasting, and pipeline management of sales opportunities within your account territory
Negotiate and guide deals through contract negotiations and signing
Close software sales and achieve assigned software revenue targets
12+ years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in the government or manufacturing sectors
Bachelor's degree; MBA degree is a plus
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
Willingness and ability to travel as business needs dictate
Ability to work outside the office in an remote environment
Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work and learn on your own
Ability to work as part of a fun and exciting team
Ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels within an organization
Proven record of sales achievement
Knowledge of sales techniques and tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC), Challenger, or HubSpot is a plus
