Red Hat Channel Development Manager - ISV and SI in Beijing, China

The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an experienced Channel Development Manager to act as our cloud solutions sales professional in Shanghai, China. In this role, you will supervise independent software vendor (ISV) solution partner sales activities throughout and manage ISV partners' satisfaction within China. Your duties will include development and maintenance of relationships with ISV solution partners and acting as an ambassador for Red Hat. You will also serve as the sales leader for the region and be responsible for directing internal resources to create solutions for customer and meet assigned quotas.
Primary job responsibilities
Work with existing and potential ISV solution partners to meet assigned sales quota by creating and implementing sales plans and strategies with local field sales teams
Maintain long-term relationships with ISVs, to achieve customer satisfaction and ensure after-market revenue
Manage internal Red Hat resources, primarily solutions architects, consultants, and inside sales representatives to support sales and account expansion efforts
Provide sales support to partner sales organizations through training, customer visits, technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and price quotes
Manage channel development, sales, and customer satisfaction within the territory
7+ years of sales experience in the IT industry with a demonstrated track-record of success
5+ years of managing channels and familiarity with channel business development
Solid understanding of enterprise software market; familiarity with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and automation related technologies is an advantage
Great interpersonal skills with a proven track record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout organizations
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or marketing
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills are preferred
Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
Experience with end-user sales experience is an advantage
