The Red Hat People team is looking for a Manager of our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Talent Recruiting team to join us in London, U.K. or Prague, Czech Republic. In this role, you will guide and manage a recruiting team focused on hiring key talent for Red Hat through strategic planning, process optimization, collaboration, and excellent market knowledge. You’ll inspire excellence in our go-to-market approach and perform effective people management that will increase industry standards. Coaching, progression, mentoring, and development of associates and new hires will be a key aspect of your role. You’ll also collaborate closely with EMEA talent advisory teams as a part of the Red Hat dual-organization recruiting model. As a Manager, you will work with corporate, global, and regional leadership teams and become part of the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership team.
Primary job responsibilities
Guide and support the EMEA Talent Acquisition Recruiting team with a focus on practical professional development, mentorship, performance measurement and tracking, and building a collaborative culture
Provide leadership in search strategy development, candidate sourcing, experience and screening, virtual and industry event-based recruiting, employment branding, competitive intelligence and analysis, talent research, partnering with search companies and agencies, and translating business strategy into talent and recruitment strategy
Provide guidance in applicant tracking system (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) optimization process
Guide highly scalable operational initiatives, process optimization, project management and recruiting strategy development; manage partner and vendor relationships
Collaborate with regional teams and functions to ensure talent acquisition excellence
Advise and partner with the senior leadership team to understand their business and talent needs
Partner with Employment Branding and Communications (EB+C), Talent Analytics, People Operations, and Total Rewards teams to follow diversity and inclusion strategies, holistic talent strategies, timelines, projects, succession planning, and budgetary targets
Participate in external networks, affiliations, and event-based recruiting strategies to support our employment brand and both active and passive recruiting strategies
Discover and implement recruitment innovation, techniques, and strategies through technology, tools, events, data, and analytics
8+ years of experience with progressive recruiting, consulting, and project management in a corporate role with focus on international recruiting
3-5 years of recruiting management experience, including leading interview panels, serving as a hiring manager, practical candidate identification, and performance management
Experience leading a team of 8+ associates distributed across a region
Record of delivering on commitments, timelines, and budget while collaborating with colleagues, leaders, and external partners to deliver excellent recruiting performance and results
Experience with reporting tools and technologies like ATS and CRM systems, LinkedIn, job boards, or analytics
Experience managing event-based recruiting strategies and positioning your company among the best from both business and culture perspectives
Excellent business insight and understanding of current business trends and strategies within the technology sector

Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to work on your own
