Job summary

The Red Hat Subscription Education Awareness Program (SEAP) team in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region is looking for Subscription Education Awareness (SEA) Compliance Specialist to join us in Farnborough, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Munich, or Paris. In this role, you will use your extensive skills and experience in the area of audit and software asset management to lead, grow and represent the SEAP business for non-standard or complex cases. There will be a set of triggers and guidelines to initiate the escalation process which you will work with the SEAP team and a supervisor to define, document, and communicate. These cases may be regionally based but have a higher international requirement across the wider EMEA or global region. You will be the lead for EMEA based cases with strategic GSI partners or other companies where there is a need for a higher level of strategic engagement.

Primary job responsibilities

  • Lead cases which escalate to audit and see them through the process, including securing and approving of budgets, spends, costs, project management, hand-offs, and communication and presentation of findings internally

  • Build a SEAP Engagement plan, and develop new and existing business across these international or complex cases

  • Attend networking events, make company presentations at events where appropriate, and represent the company at appropriate professional meetings

  • Support the wider SEAP team through the identification of contacts, opportunities, and consultants across all sectors and service offerings

  • Ensure effective and excellent service delivery within the identified EMEA scope to achieve agreed commercial and revenue targets from the assigned accounts and maintain the knowledge, training, and industry acumen

  • Work with EMEA and Global teams on tactical projects in the areas of process design and documentation, tools identification and implementation, and others as assigned and agreed with the SEAP supervisor

  • Work with the EMEA and Global teams to help their understanding of the relevant projects within the region to develop the engagement model and develop a global best practice approach

Required skills

  • Previous experience auditing responses and implementations

  • Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM)

  • Knowledge of sales forecasting and pipeline management

  • Ability to perform licensing and subscription analysis

  • Understanding of SAM tools and technology (including discovery tools)

  • Experience with compliance programs

  • Great negotiations skills

  • Proven experience with contract management and dissemination
